A four-day meditation retreat designed especially for beginners, but not only for them. Basic meditation instructions will help you set a gentle effort and friendly attitudes towards the body and mind. You will be accompanied by Maya Nováková from Plejs, who has several years of experience with vipassana meditation.


Type of meditation: satipathana vipassana, mindfulness and insight meditation.

Vipassana meditation is not a substitute for therapy, if you need therapeutic help, a retreat is not a suitable solution.

During the retreat, sitting meditation for 45min/60min and walking meditation alternate. The first meditation starts at 8:00, the last one is at 20:00. The end of the day ends with compassion meditation. The daily regime will not be strict, you can make it your own, but it is not a vacation, but adventurous work with the mind (we do not read or browse... mobile phones will be offline).

During the stay, there will be individual conversations on meditation practice and lectures, where you will receive inspiration on how to approach yourself, obstacles in meditation, how to develop compassion for yourself and other topics necessary for beginning meditation. These topics are also inspiring for long-term meditators who are discovering new attitudes.

Notice: after this four-day retreat, meditators can continue their individual meditation practice on subsequent days, according to their own strength and discretion.
