Mettā medtiation retreat

A special meditation retreat focused on cultivating loving-kindness (mettā). Through this steady continuity of practice, we will cultivate benevolence, friendliness, and goodwill as the guiding orientation of the heart and mind, allowing these qualities to naturally extend into daily life. Loving-kindness is a medicine for the heart that removes harmful mental states, improves quality of sleep and helps to heal our old wounds and traumas.

During the entire retreat, meditators will be assisted by Ing. Adam Výbošťok. The guidance in meditation will be offered by the lecturer Bhante Sati Santikaro Thera who will also give an individual meditation instructions during the retreat. It is a moderately intense mind training for those who are interested to deepen their meditation experience, especially the concentration and peacefulness. Mettā retreat is also suitable for beginners.

The Noble silence, Eight precepts and Meditation retreat program are strictly observed.

2. Members of Santikaram Association Slovakia: €149

The prices listed are final and include all dietary costs.

Donation (dāna) for the teacher is not included in the retreat fee, it is based solely on the voluntariness and generosity of each participant.

3. pay the retreat fee either online via bank transfer (Bank account: Santikaram Association Slovakia, IBAN:

   SK9611000000002948131901, the message for the recipient: retreat) or in cash at Santikaram Forest Temple, Stránske 290, 013 13 Stránske.

When all the three steps mentioned above will be successfully accomplished, you will receive an e-mail with the confirmation of your booking.
